The goal was to honor the famed Brazilian city, including its neighboring seaside and surrounding landscape.To represent Rio, the team elected to go with a blue, white and beige color combination, in order to represent asphalt and sand. If you’re a fan of classic adidas stan smith silhouettes then these new colorways of the Superstar and Pro Model are for you. Both of these sneakers have been covered in premium white leather uppers with gum detailing landing on the midsole/outsole as well as the signature shell toes. Gold foiling has been added on the tongue branding of both pairs as a finishing touch.It looks like adidas has been paying attention because they have also created a couple of sneakers with gum soles. |
